The Vision for The Park, Evansville Nature and Recreation Area

The Evansville Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to introduce our vision of The Park, Evansville Nature and Recreation Area. The vision of The Park encompasses city and state owned property to the south and north of the Lloyd Expressway in Evansville, Indiana. The plan encourages the development of “Connections”, biking, walking and hiking trails to tie these natural assets together for the use and enjoyment of the community and our visitors.

Additionally, the vision incorporates the development of a state of the art Multi-Use Softball/Baseball Eight-Plex on these grounds. This complex will be used by the community and will be the home to Evansville Adult Softball League play in addition to hosting numerous state, regional and national youth softball tournaments from early spring to late fall.
